Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication data through Clerk. When you use our tools, we collect the content you upload — such as reference images and audio — solely to process your generation request. These uploaded reference files are permanently deleted from our servers immediately after your generation is complete. The AI-generated outputs (images and videos) are stored securely on Cloudinary and are accessible to you through your profile. We also collect usage data such as the features you use and generation history in order to improve our services over time.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and operate the Synth AI platform and its features. Your payment and subscription details are processed through Razorpay. Generated images and uploaded assets are stored via Cloudinary. We may use your email to communicate important updates, billing information, and support responses. We also analyse usage patterns to improve our platform and AI tools.
Synthetic Content Disclosure
In compliance with the EU AI Act (Article 50, effective August 2026) and India IT Rules 2026, we inform all users that our AI Influencer, Generate Post, and Influencer Video tools produce Synthetically Generated Information (SGI). By using these tools, you are interacting with an Artificial Intelligence system. All outputs are generated algorithmically and do not represent real-world events or the personal views of any real individual unless explicitly stated by the user. Synth AI works toward embedding machine-readable provenance metadata in generated content in line with the C2PA standard and applicable transparency requirements.
Digital Likeness & Biometric Rights
Our tools may process images or videos to create digital personas. We do not use this data for biometric identification purposes. However, if you upload an image or likeness of a real person, you are solely responsible for ensuring you have that person's documented consent to do so. In line with guidance issued by global Data Protection Authorities in February 2026 regarding AI-generated imagery, we provide a Right to Digital Erasure — you may request the permanent deletion of any AI-generated likeness and associated data at any time by contacting us at synthai@synthiclabs.com.
Training Data Transparency
In compliance with California AB 2013 (effective January 1, 2026), we disclose that the generative AI models powering Synth AI are built on top of enterprise-grade third-party AI providers operating under paid commercial agreements. Under these agreements, your input data and generated outputs are never used to train any AI models. Synth AI itself does not independently train any AI models on user-uploaded content, generated outputs, or any personal information. API traffic is retained by our providers for up to 55 days solely for abuse and safety monitoring purposes, after which it is permanently deleted. We do not use sensitive personal information for any training purposes.
Data Storage & Security
Your account data is securely managed by Clerk, an enterprise-grade authentication provider. Generated images and uploaded assets are stored on Cloudinary's secure cloud infrastructure. User subscription data, plan information, and credits are stored securely in Supabase, a cloud database provider. Payment information is handled entirely by Razorpay and is never stored on our servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorised access.
Third-Party Services
Synth AI relies on the following third-party services to operate: Clerk for authentication and user account management, Razorpay for payment processing and subscription management, Cloudinary for image and asset storage, Supabase for secure database storage of user and subscription data, and enterprise-grade third-party AI providers for AI-powered generation features. Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy and handles data according to its respective terms. Government or regulatory bodies requiring disclosure of the specific AI models or providers used by Synth AI must submit an official request from a verified government email address to synthai@synthiclabs.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable laws.
Grievance Officer & Content Removal
In compliance with India IT Rules 2026, Synth AI maintains a takedown protocol for harmful AI-generated content. Reports of non-consensual intimate imagery or deepfake impersonation can be submitted to synthai@synthiclabs.com and will be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 7 days. For urgent government or court-ordered removals, we aim to act as promptly as possible. Our Grievance Officer can be reached at synthai@synthiclabs.com for all AI-related disputes.
Your Rights
You may request access to the personal data we hold about you at any time. You may delete your account and all associated data directly from your profile settings at any time. You may also opt out of non-essential communications at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at synthai@synthiclabs.com.

Synth AI uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management through Clerk. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. By continuing to use Synth AI, you consent to the use of these essential cookies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through a notice on our platform. Continued use of Synth AI after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
